    Alright, I posted this in the Debate section because no matter what you guys can say whatever you feel like because in the end, I don’t care.
    First of all… I’m sick of you guys saying all this bull about me and Vaner. I want it to stop not what ifs, whats, ands, nothingggg. I have respect for anyone who is willing to give it in return. I know I troll sometimes but don’t bring what we have into this. It’s pathetic you would even go that far to do something like that.
    Secondly, Mine & Vaner’s relationship shouldn’t concern you if all you want to do is talk crap about it. I’m sorry I had to post this. I am trying to say this in the most keenest way I possibly can.
    But my question for you guys is *if you loved someone… how far would you go?*

    With and after the release of Modern Warfare 3 we’ve seen a few new games modes added to the Multiplayer side of the game. Take the Infected or Drop Zone game mode for example. Or what about the FFA Gunplay game mode which consists of 3 (Gun Game, One in The Chamber and All or Nothing) game modes.

    Joining these new games modes will be the brand new Face Off game mode. Infinity Ward’s description of the Face Off mode:

    Step 1: Delete the Game Data Utility of the games of your liking

    Step 2: Open up The patch blocker

    Step 3: Go to Ps3 Internet settings and go to custom setup (LEAVE PATCH BLOCKER OPEN)

    Step 4: Go to Proxy Server and click USE Type in the Proxy IP into the Ps3 proxy

  • Why nothing has been released for online modding!!
    The reason why nothing has been released because noone wants Black Ops to turn into MW2. With everyone doing Xp Lobbies ect. noone wants that.

    Also you can get Black Ops a new update which would patch everything ect.
    By doing the mods it ruins the game if you think about it, what game developer wants “Hackers/Modders” screwing up their game that they made?
    NONE.

    And people will take advantage of it.
    And the people that work hard for this deserves this unlike the kids that don’t do anything and just expect something in return.

    So the only way you can get mods for yourself is if you figure it out on your own. I hate seeing people beg for stuff on all forums saying please I need help, I’ll pay for it, and alot more stuff ect. it’s really getting old.

    Now I really don’t care about people dislikeing this thread or what ever I’m just tried of people begging and leaking shit so there it is for everyone.

    Activision’s Call of Duty Elite service puts another feather in its very busy cap today with a reported total of 10 million users, two million of which are paid subscribers. This is an increase of three million and 500,000, respectively, since last Activision dished out some numbers in February.

    The latest earnings report says it’s “an increase of approximately 33% from January 31, 2012.” As of March 31, Activision has 40 million monthly active users across all Call of Duty products and platforms.

  • Modern Warfare 3 DLC Collection 2: New Face Off Game Mode!

    Xbox Modern Warfare 3 gamer’s will be hit with a heap of Downloadable Content come May 22nd , details for Content Collection number 2 have hit the web with a new multiplayer mode called “Face Off”, two new Spec-Ops missions and three multiplayer maps promised.

    The new “Face Off” mode will see gamer’s battling it one-on-one or kicking it with a teammate and going two-on-two. What makes this new mode so unique is the mapsize, allowing more up-close combat, as Modern Warfare 3 executive producer Mark Rubin explained to EuroGamer:

    In normal map development you have large maps that have long sight lines, then when you make smaller maps you shorten the sight line – the engagement distance becomes smaller when the map becomes smaller,” Rubin explained. “But with these Face-Off maps, because it’s not six-on-six, we’ve made the sight lines longer for the size of the map that it is. You actually end up engaging quicker and having a more exciting experience on the map.

    As a gift from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, two free “Face Off” maps will be released to all Xbox gamers on the 15th of May.

    * *Erosion*: Make your way through Mediterranean ruins and ancient aqueducts, using leftover Roman masonry for thousand-year-old cover in this new “Face Off” map.
    * *Aground*: Head to Scotland’s Orkney Islands for the latest “Face Off” map, where treacherous cliff faces, networks of caves and the rusted and ruined remains of a grounded transport ship provide for constant combat.

    Two more “Face Off” Maps will be released with the Content Collection on the 22nd of May:

    * *Getaway*: The first “Face Off” map in Modern Warfare franchise history, what once was a tropical beach getaway boasting exotic aquariums and oversized pools is now a haven for ruthless run-and-gun violence.
    * *Lookout*: Carved into a combat-weary mountainside, this new “Face Off” map pits you against your opposition in a forward observation base littered in chokepoints and tight corridors.

    Along with maps for the new game mode, we still have the normal multiplayer maps to dig into, they will consist of, “Sanctuary” and “Foundation“, which was the content for Elite members in April and one new map.

    * *Oasis*: Though once a picturesque escape for vacationers, the sprawling Hotel Oasis is now a Multiplayer paradise, with multiple lanes of combat built atop an ancient fortress.

    To finish of the content collection is the two new Spec Ops missions, there for the bromance of teamwork.

    * *Ironclad*: With one player helming a tank and the other escorting it on foot, you’ll clear beaches and take cover in plane wreckage as you escape Hamburg from behind enemy lines in this all-new Special Ops Mission.
    * *Killswitch*: Armed with an Electromagnetic Pulse, your sniper team must neutralize a Russian carrier in this Special Ops Mission where only a bird’s eye view can keep your team in command as you breach the ship from underwater.

    This being hands down the biggest collection of content to be released on Call of Duty, one can imagine this game having more replay value the more content is released, of course Xbox users get the all important first dibs with Playstation 3 and Pc waiting for a release date to be announced for their platforms. At least the masses we will be occupied till Black Ops 2 hits in November.

    if you play with a few people get them to stand at the bottem inside the light house where they be more safe.

    let a zombie remove the window barriers apart from the bottem pannel MUST BE.. if he takes the bottem one rebuild and try again….

    jump on the bottem pannal and ge thte host to press START TRINAGLE at same time cauing a small lag in the game if pressed at right time u are now out the map in the cortyard..

    Net tools allways you to get host in games and also could be used as a lag swtich for xbox and ps3.

    and copy and paste DATA around 40 times.

    you now be lagging but need to be fast or lose connection or zombies out power you as the lag not help out.

  • Playstation 3: PlayStation’s Future: Good News and Bad News
    -BAD-

    Yesterday, Sony released its earnings report for the 2011 fiscal year. Among the slides, numbers and endless walls of text Sony unleashed on the world can be found a hodgepodge of good and bad news for the electronics giant, including plenty of new details surrounding its coveted PlayStation brand.

    Sony rightly points to the Great East Japan Earthquake and its aftereffects, disastrous US tax loopholes and other intangibles as contributors to its massive $6.4 billion dollar loss. But obviously, problems are far direr for Sony than that. As such, the company wants to refocus on some of the things it does extraordinarily well. One of those things, of course, is the creation of gaming hardware and software.

    The Consumer Products and Services (CPS) sector that houses the PlayStation brand took the biggest hit during Sony’s 2011 fiscal year (which stretched from April of 2011 through March of 2012). Sales are down 18.5 percent year over year, though the PlayStation brand certainly had little to do with the loss. In fact, Sony itself reports that LCD television sales are lower, something that was “expected from focusing not on pursuing unit sales but on improving profitability,” and that “CPS segment sales are expected to increase significantly year-on-year,” including in the realm of cameras and VAIO computers. The PlayStation brand is never mentioned.

    Where Sony does begin to mention the PlayStation brand is in terms of units sold in both hardware and software. PlayStation 3 sold 13.9 million units during the 2011 fiscal year, down 400,000 units from the year before. PlayStation Portable is also down year over year, from 8 million units sold down to 6.8 million units sold, though this is certainly to be expected. And PlayStation 2 is still trucking along as well, selling 4.1 million units, down from 6.4 million units from the year before.

    This brings lifetime sales of the PlayStation 3 to 63.9 million (analyze the full numbers here). Meanwhile, lifetime sales data from September of 2011 has PSP at 71.4 million units sold (per Eurogamer). PlayStation 2, last reported in total over a year ago, was sitting at 153.19 million units sold (per Sony).

    (An analysis of available data at Sony’s corporate site shows that, since stats started being kept there during the 2006 fiscal year, 54.2 PlayStation 2 consoles have been sold, with 62.2 million PSPs having been sold in the same time period.)

    -GOOD-

    It’s within these sales numbers that some good news can be found for Sony, especially in terms of the PlayStation 3. Obviously, PS2s being sold some 12 years after it came out is nothing but a net gain for Sony, but now, the PS3 is a mere 3.3 million units away from the Xbox 360 in worldwide sales with a year’s less time on the market. According to Eurogamer, 67.2 million Xbox 360 consoles are in the wild as of less than a month ago. Whether you average out units sold-per-months on the market or opt to remove a year’s sales from the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 is in a surprisingly strong place right now. If the consoles spent the same amount of time on the market, these numbers suggest PS3 would actually be winning that race.

    Software sales are also very positive for Sony. 156.6 million games were sold on PlayStation 3 during the 2011 fiscal year, up 8.7 million games sold from the year before. Even with a slight dip in PS3 sales, games are still selling very strongly. However, PSP and PS2 game sales are currently tanking. 32.2 million PSP games were sold in the 2011 fiscal year, down from 46.6 million games sold the year before. PS2 games sales have also cratered, pushing only 7.9 million games, down from 16.4 million the year before.

  • My story of losing 100 LBS!
    I know this might not be the right place, but I felt like sharing this story and letting everyone know where can motivation get you. First when I was young, from 6 to 11, I was pro at football, trained for over 4 years, had cups & medals, but then i went through depression so I turned really obese. I was like 5’6 and around 290-300 LBS.

    People thought it was funny to say I’m fat and stuff behind my back. I never cared that I was fat or anything, I always had a life. But this did piss me off. In april and may 2011 I felt that I want to lose weight badly and prove them wrong, but I always thought it was hopeless, until one of my best friends suggested that I go to his gym, and that he will help me out. I didn’t hesitate for a second, and just thought I’d give it a shot.

    When I told people I’m losing weight, some people would really encourage you, but others would be like ” Okay ” laughing from their inside, at the opposite the latter group did motivate me better. I started working my ass off, cut down food, and proving to everyone, I can do it. I went through tough times, but in the end I did it, I lost 100 LBS of weight.

    Right now, I’m around 195 and 5’9, yeah I’m still not fit, and I need to lose around 30 lbs for perfect weight I think, but by this summer, I’m expected to grow a pack, and become a motivation.

    Everything changes when you lose weight, people are always impressed & leaving nice comments, that makes me happy. The opposite sex becomes more interested in you, and most importantly, you have more confidence.

    Right now, I do not work out because I want have to but rather I love what it gave me, so I’m paying it back.

    I want to see the following:

    You are stuck on an island, no support, you are 8 guys alone. Each of you has X amount of ammo, and there is no more ammo to pick or purchase. The timer starts, your aim is to survive as much as you can. ( Even though the map layout should make it possible to survive, less open, etc)

    I’m not going to tell how smart am I, or how amazing grades I managed to do, because that’s not me. But as most of you know, I’m an A*/A Student.

    Latterly, my mate passed away, I lost people I cared for so much, and my life is shit in all directions. I feel no motivation to do anything what so ever. No motivation to study, or go to gym, or doing anything. If there is something that cheers me up, it’s this site, as I’ve avoided reality since my mate’s death happened, and I prefer being here, as it helps me forget.

    Even though, my exams are on the doors, I haven’t studied at all, all info evaporated, like I’ve an exam tomorrow. Normally, Vaner would be cramming the **** out of it, revising, and doing past papers. I’m now aimlessly browsing the web……..

    I had the thought of dropping out of school, and doing anything, taking gap years, moving out , or whatever. I know this isn’t really a debate, it’s more an advice, and it does only fit here imo.

  • Understanding RSA Signature
    *Understanding the RSA signature*

    I have noticed lots of confusion about this lately, so I wanted to post this to help clarify things for those who don’t understand how the RSA signature works. With that being said, let’s get started

    -First off, there are two different keys used on the fastfiles: Public and Private. The public key is responsible for the encryption/decryption of the FastFile, while the Private key is responsible for generating the RSA signature.

    -In the Black Ops fastfile, the RSA signature starts at 0x3C and ends at 0x13B (giving it a total length of 100 bytes). Essentially, the RSA signature is a hash of the encrypted data contained inside the file. The signature is generated by Treyarch when they create the fastfile using their private key. If you change anything inside a fastfile at all, the RSA signature will not match the file and the game will abort loading the fastfile resulting in a blackscreen.

    -So how does the game know that the RSA signature doesn’t match the fastfile?

    Well, the EBOOT.BIN (t5mp_ps3f.self for multiplayer) contains everything the game uses to load, and it includes a check on the RSA signature. So, in order to run a modded fastfile you need to modify the EBOOT.BIN to skip the RSA signature check. Lucky for you, I have already done this for everyone and you can download an EBOOT for your region with RSA signature checks removed here (www.fivestargamerz.com/f178/eboot-bin-collection-regions-rsa-checks-patched-41204/)

    -So, why can’t I just use a modded fastfile online?

    If you have a modified fastfile you need a modified EBOOT, and as many of you probably know a modified EBOOT.BIN cannot be used on any firmware above 3.55. This is because Sony has changed the keys they use for encrypting executables after the whole custom firmware incident.

    -Someone found the Public Key, so why can’t they find the Private Key too?

    The public key has it’s name for a reason. Since the game cannot load an encrypted file, it has to decrypt it before runtime so the key has to be stored somewhere. The public key is contained inside the EBOOT.BIN and gets loaded into the SPU when you launch the game, and from there it is used to decrypt all fastfiles. The private key, however, is not stored anywhere in the game files. It is only used by treyarch to generate RSA signatures for their game update fastfiles.

    This should help to clarify things for some of you, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. I hope you all learned something by reading
